Do I need to make a reservation for a conference call?
No. Conference calls can be held at any time without the need for a reservation. You simply need to access the conference system, and provide the other attendees the dial-in information.

Can I add participants to the call in the middle?
Yes. The host of the call can dial out to other people during the call. Additionally, people can dial into the call at any time unless the room is locked.

How many people can I have on a conference call at once?
You can have up to 125 attendees on each conference call with the dial-in information. If more participants are needed, you can have the size of your conference room increased by contacting customer service.

Can I use the service from overseas?
Yes. IDT Connect offers two options for using the service outside the United States. With International Toll Free Service, you have toll-free access to your conference call from many countries around the world. If there is no toll-free number available in your country, you can dial a US-based local number; you just need to be able to make an international long distance call from your location.

Will I have online access to view details of my conference calls, invoices and payments, etc.?

Are there any commitments or setup fees for opening an account / buying conference call services?
No, there are no contracts, no commitments or setup fees for opening an account.

Is a contract required to open an account?
No, we do not require a contract.

Are there any minimum usage fees or monthly fees?
Our Pay-as-You-Go plan has no minimum usage fees or monthly fees. With our Toll-Free Package Plans, there is a monthly fee that includes a block of minutes.

How can I cancel my account?
You can cancel your account at any time. Simply call us requesting that your account be closed.

What is the difference between toll and toll-free?
Toll means that the caller pays for any long distance charges when using our toll dial in number to call in to a conference.

Toll-free (also known as an 800 number) means that the caller will not be charged when using our toll-free dial in number to call into a conference. (Cell phone providers may charge additional fees for toll free usage.)

You can use both the toll and toll-free dial in numbers on the same conference call. That is, you can give some participants the toll dial in number and others the toll-free dial in number.

Can I open an account without a credit card?
Yes.  If you prefer you can be billed for the services your use on a monthly basis. You will receive a statement in the mail with details regarding your usage.  Please contact us at 1-877-765-9646 to set up an account.

Do you have a number I can call for customer support?
Yes, call us at 1-800-568-0618.

Can I record my conference calls?
Yes! Simply press *7 or you can choose the record option from the online conference manager during the call and the recording will be started. After your call is finished, you can choose to download your recording from the conference manager.

How do I join an online meeting?
Joining a IDT Connect Web Conferencing meeting on a Mac® or PC is easy and just takes a few seconds:
1. Go to www.idtconnect.com.
2. Select Join a Meeting button
2. Type or paste in the Conference ID.
4. Type in your Host Pin
5. Enter your Name
6. Select Login

Does a invited participant need an IDT Connect Web Conferencing account to attend a meeting?
No!  Invited participants do not need an IDT Connect Web Conferencing account to attend an IDT Connect Web Conferencing meeting. You can participate as a guest of the meeting organizer, and there is no obligation to buy or sign up for an account.

What are the system requirements for attending a meeting and hosting a IDT Connect Web Conferencing?
On a PC

  • Internet Explorer® 7.0 or newer, Mozilla® Firefox® 3.0 or newer or Google™ Chrome™ 5.0 or newer (JavaScript™ and Java™ enabled)
  • Windows® 7, Vista, XP or 2003 Server
  • Cable modem, DSL or better Internet connection

Q: Can I host or attend a meeting, webinar or training session using a Mac®?
Yes, as long as your Mac® meets the system requirement below:

Is there a cost for using the voice conferencing feature?
If you are on a Monthly plan, No!  Your IDT Connect Web Conferencing service includes Unlimited Toll Conference Calling at no extra cost to you.  However, if you are on a the Pay As You Go Web Conferencing plan then there is a cost of 2.5 cents for Local Toll and 5.9 cents for toll Free already bundled into your Pay As You Go pricing of 12.5 cents or 15.9 cents.

Also, if you are on a monthly plan and would like to use a Toll-Free number you can either select a Pay-as-You go Toll-Free plan at 5.9 cents per minute or you can sign up for one of our other Toll-Free plans with bundled minutes of: 1,000; 5,000; or 10,000

Note: These plans also includes International Access from over 40+ countries.

Is there a toll-free option for Conference Calling Service? How do I sign up?
Yes! You can add Integrated Toll-Free Conference Calling service by simply selecting either a Pay-as-You go Toll-Free plan at 5.9 cents per minute or one of the other Toll-Free package plans with bundled minutes of: 1,000; 5,000; or 10,000

Note: These plans also includes International Access from over 40+ countries.

Can I increase the number of participants allowed in a web meeting?
Yes!  You can upgrade your plan to include up to 100 or 200 participants.  If you would like to add up to 1,000+ participants, just call one of our account representatives at 1-877-765-9646 to help you set up your account.

Can I enroll in the product and only pay for what I use?
Yes!  You can select our Pay-as-You go plan and you will only be charged for the minutes and the number of participants that call into the Web Conferencing meeting at a rate of 12.5 cents per minute using the Toll Access number or 15.9 cents per minute using the Toll-Free number.
